Projects

The TOTO programme allows children and young people nationwide to freely articulate their vision of tomorrow.

TOTO and his well-being tour

In 2025, Toto will hit the road again, touring public events to raise awareness of the importance of children's physical and mental well-being. His first tour will focus on the theme "colourful plates, colourful lives", a joyful celebration of healthy, balanced eating.

Through fun activities such as the "Tasting LAB", children will explore their eating habits, discover balanced choices and reflect on the impact of their diet on their well-being. The tour will conclude with a "Wellness Tavolata", a festive meal celebrating the exchanges, and the publication of a compilation highlighting the ideas and contributions of the young participants.

TOTO at Kannerrechtsfest

Since 2021, Toto has participated in the "Kannerrechtsfest", which is organised every year by the Ministry of National Education, Children and Youth to collect testimonies from children and adults on children's rights.

TOTO am Éislek

From July to September 2021, Toto visited six locations in the north of Luxembourg (Boulaide, Clervaux, Parc Hosingen, Vianden, Wiltz, Wincrange). Through various interactive workshops held by regional educational actors, Toto helped the young inhabitants to (re)discover their region through its culture, heritage, and traditions.

From October 2021 to January 2022, those motivated to continue the adventure formed a writing and editing group that gathered information and created a regional guide. The guides are available here.

TOTO Revient

In spring 2021, Toto resumed his travels across the country. In its luggage: an exhibition on children's rights and youth participation. Different Design for Change workshops were organized in each city that hosted Toto, helping children and young people develop projects of general interest that transformed them into actors of change.

TOTO L’Expo

From mid-November 2020 to the end of February 2021, the testimonies collected during the TOTO Bus Tour were exhibited at the Lëtzebuerg City Museum. The national exhibition opened the discussion on children and young people's feelings, fears, and needs in times of sanitary crisis.

TOTO Bus Tour 2020

From mid-July to mid-September 2020, Toto and a team of a dozen artists travelled across the country to allow children and young people to express themselves freely through different workshops. They met some 1,000 children, young people, and adults in 10 locations (Betzdorf, Beckerich, Ettelbrück, Esch-sur-Alzette, Remich, Wiltz, Differdange, Grevenmacher, Centre Hospitalier Luxembourg, SOS Kannerduerf Lëtzebuerg).

From this trip, Toto brought back a travel diary, witnessing the worries and fears and the hopes and wishes of the children, young people and adults he met. Find Toto's travel diary here.
